A palatial entrance
The pinnacle achievement of Eccleston Mews is its stunning helical staircase, with marble steps, an ornate balustrade and integrated LED lighting. Spiralling into the triple-height entrance space, the impact is enhanced by a 7m glass chandelier, delicately cascading through the central void. Few homes can boast such a magnificent entrance, let alone a mews house. It’s an exemplary display of interior architecture, design and engineering.
Manufactured by a specialist supplier in Denmark, the staircase had a 700-mile journey to its destined home in central London. Arriving on site in sections, the contractor took up the challenge of painstakingly assembling the structure. Now in-situ, it provides an unforgettable arrival experience for every visitor to this spectacular home.
